HOT SHOT party.

I got an email the other day from one of my most FAVORITE people EVER... my dear friend, Sarah. I've known Sarah since French class in 8th grade (16 years?!), where we stapled licorice to the wall, wrote our own alphabet and constantly quoted the movie HOT SHOTS. Needless to say, we laughed a LOT in that class. I remember SEVERAL times I laughed until TEARS flowed down my face... then I'd get my name on the board. It was WORTH it...we had an absolute BLAST! I will write the rest of this post in the FRENCH I learned in that class.
Ici is her darling family...

It's not really fair that so many good looks are all in ONE family. He's already taking after his funny mother...C'est my favorite picture... maybe EVER!!

Merci so much, Sarah! It was tres fun to see you again... now I can update my shrine. ;)

The Smiths...

When Wende asked me to take pictures of her entire family, I felt like doing this...

Wende is a FANTASTIC photographer... I love her work. So for her to ask me... made me feel pretty awesome.

Just look at this happy family...

I actually have a picture where EVERYONE is looking at the camera... but where's the fun in that?

I love this pic of 2 sisters...

And here are the 2 that started this handsome family...

Thanks so much Smith family!

Tim, Michelle and Co.

I love love love the colors in these pictures...
Michelle, you did a FANTASTIC job picking outfits!

Such cute kids! We had a lot of fun.

Oh my goodness... when we were setting up our picture, this old man came down to the family and told them to have their kids stand on him! WHAT?!!! I'm sure Tim and Michelle would LOVE to have a gigantic 16x20 picture framed and hanging on their living room wall with their entire family looking so lovely and happy... but when you look a little closer you see a strange old man lying down underneath the kids' feet! "No thanks", we politely said. I took a picture, because I know no one would believe me if I told them!

The look on Michelle's face is PRICELESS!!

I leave you with one more... this is my FAVORITE picture of the bunch...

What a darling family! Thanks you guys!!

Shooting TWINKLES...

The other day I got to shoot (I'm still uncomfortable using the word SHOOT. You all know this is a photography blog, right? And anytime I say SHOOT or SHOT, I'm takling in PHOTO LANGUAGE. I would never murder anyone... and when I stubb my toe or spill my drink on my computer, I won't say SHOOT... There are plenty of other words I'd choose. SHOOT is strictly for PHOTOS on this blog! Clear?)my sweet cousin and her cute family. Let's be honest... sorry Katie and Jared,

but the REAL star of this SHOOT was your baby girl...

She is soooooooo adorable.

Have you noticed them?... noticed those TWINKLEY eyes?
I'm sure you have... they're hard to miss.

Ohhhhhhh what I wouldn't give to have those TWINKLEY eyes!
There's only ONE other person I've ever seen with such a TWINKLE. My sweet Grandpa, Par.

I cannot believe how much this little girl's eyes remind me of his!!

Such a lucky girl!

I loved, loved, loved SHOOTING this family!

Thanks Katie, Jared and Baby Twinkle!!
I'll leave you with one more... it always makes me laugh.
She's saying... "STOP! DON'T SHOOT!" :)

Richardson Family...

Being a photographer is rewarding. Not only is it a LOVE of mine, but sometimes it gets me FREE stuff. This time I got to do a TRADE with this darling family... the Richardsons. Lisa is an incredible photographer and I'm soooo excited to see the pictures she took of US. I'm also THRILLED she'd even consider ME to take her family pictures. Thanks, Lisa! Look how BEAUTIFUL these girls are...

This next one is a little different... playing with a new ACTION I got. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Thanks Richardson Family! We had a lot of fun... maybe we should play again soon!
